Visited: Tuesday Afternoon

I was in Tempe for a business trip and had the afternoon off so I decided to check out the local clubs. After reading tuscl reviews I decided to try T&A based on the comments that it was a friendly, low-pressure place that you could just hang out. Also the 2 for 1 draft beers and 2 for 1 VIP dances on Tuesday sweetened the offer a bit. It was also the closest to my Hotel. I planned to spend a hour or so there and then move on Eastward to some of the other, fancier places.
First, the location is not great, but it is not bad. I felt no concern for safety or parking. I got here at about 3PM. The parking lot was full except for the valet spaces, but when he saw me looking, the attendant came to my window and said I could park valet for $5 or over by the wall for free. I opted for the free and headed for the door. The attendant greeted me with a handshake and very briefly patted me down before I entered, I tipped him a few dollars and considered my visit off to a good start. Knowing that he was in the parking lot made me confident that my car would be safe.
The other reviews talked about how small the place is, but I was surprised by how tiny it really was. The building looks small from the outside, but inside it is divided in half. When you come in you are faced with a small bar area with a pool table. You then turn right into a very small stage area. The stage is nothing more than a 6 foot circle with a little shelf around it and a pole in the middle that goes up into a hole in the ceiling. The ceiling in the club is not more than 10 feet high so without the hole in the ceiling, the girls would barely be able to climb the pole at all! The entire dance area can't be more than 15x30 feet with tables and chairs packed in so tightly you can barely get from one end to the other. Small booths line two of the back walls. Bathroom is functional but pathetic, with big holes in the sheetrock walls with insulation hanging out. You can use it, but don't touch anything!
