Ok, so I have been reading...

Ok, so I have been reading about this joint for a while, so when I had occasion to make a trip to Detroit last month, I stopped in on the way back, on a Sunday afternoon.<br>

The club has been described before, so no point going into it, but yeah, it is a dive. A stage in the middle and one on the side. I sat at a high-top table and ordered a beer from the waitress, rather friendly. Not 2 minutes later, a thick black dancer, around 30 or so, sat down and gave the much-lauded “handshake”. We chatted a bit, and she offered it all up in the back for a c-note and ½. I thought about it, but declined. I had only been there 5 minutes…<br>

I drank the beer, the black dancer disappeared with someone. The only other attractive dancer was a 30-something blonde who was onstage. I tipped her $5.00, and she said she’d come over when done. So I sat out her remaining songs. But when she got offstage, she was snagged by what had to be a regular. As they walked past on the way to the back, she flashed me a grin and a “whaddaya gonna do” shrug. Fair enough. <br>
