This review is going to be a bit different than most here. Rather than reviewing the club itself or the dancers, I am going to be reviewing the new policy of scanning peoples drivers licenses. (Note: The most recent review says that his license was not scanned. I just called the club and confirmed that the scanning policy is in effect)
First of all, before I go on, let me make it clear that I have no knowledge of the reasons why the HiLiter has made this change in policies, nor do I have any knowledge of what they intend (or don't intend) to do with the personal information they are collecting from customers. This review is written from the standpoint of a long-term customer, and viewing things from the point of view of the customer.
With that out of the way, from the perspective of the customer, I can see absolutely no benefits to turning over personal data to a strip club. In fact, not only do I see no benefit, I see a lot of POTENTIAL bad things that can happen to people who don't protect their personal data. Among the problems are:
