Stopped here one afternoon around 3:00 pm. I left my ID in the car, and they wouldn’t serve me or let me stay without the ID, even though I certainly don’t look anywhere near 21. They said something about a local crackdown. No cover charge, and the beer was $5.50.

There were only 4 girls working that afternoon, and I have one word for you: Darien. I hung out for a bit, sizing up the place. Other guys went back for laps, but never longer than one song. Not a good sign. Then Darien emerged from being in the back for multiple songs (a very good sign) and did a set on stage. You could tell right away she knew what she was doing, and I decided to wait for her.
