Lover of ladies.....greetings! Is was a Friday night (7/29) 8:00pm. After a disappointing foray at nearby competitor, Jet Strip, I jumped down the street to Bare Elegance. Little did I know how large the gap between the two had become. On the one hand, Jet Strip was quiet with little activity, no hussle whatsoever, no "action" either, although perhaps the inactivity was due to the relatively early hour. No matter, but something just didn't sit right. So off I went. Bare Elegance, however, while not exactly hopping, had an entirely more upbeat atmosphere, with lots of eye candy hanging around the bar -- ready, willing and friendly. A little too loud if you ask me, but what else is new.

Although my ultimate lap experience was what I would call "adequate", I was most disappointed at what seems like a new way of doing business for me. Keep in mind I'm an irregular attendee here:

Instead of paying the girl directly, the money is given to the bartender who requires the dancer to submit some kind of card (or paperwork) for inspection and/or processing. Old news to most of you I'm sure, and no big deal, I suppose, although it's my first experience with this.
