In Memphis once again on a Thursday night, so I went back to the Pony. Did not recognize many of the dancers, but there were quite a few on duty. Was approached by one young dancer who was extremely outgoing and friendly. She talked me into a trip to the back for a private dance. Same screwy prices as always there—1 for $40, 2 for 60, and 3 for 100. But she said that for 100, she would do 4. I opted for 2. Very nicely done, although she seemed to be in her own world. As we left the back area, she pointed to another dancer working on a customer and said the dancer was her cousin. The cousin also was quite young and very attractive. As expected, later in the evening both cousins came up and wanted to dance a duet. I agreed but was a little apprehensive about how the pricing would work. Turned out to be a relative bargain—2 girls, 2 dances, $100. Both were very attentive and in the end, they got the job done. Evening finished. I will be back, but would hope to see some old favorites there as well. I'm afraid they may have moved on to other states where the laws are more favorable.
