I had a great Wednesday night at Baby Dolls (a first-time visit)...well actually, I just got tired of all the country music there and it was close to closing time. I had a 6 am flight out of DFW, so I still needed to kill some more time. I asked the cab driver for a good after-hours strip club and he suggested Jaguars. It was a quick 10 minute ride from Baby Dolls for about $10. And here is a nice piece of information for us out-of-towners, Baby Dolls had a string of cabs waiting for customers to take them where they needed to go...a real nice touch. Anyway, I went into Jaguars blind not checking any TUSCL reviews beforehand and it was a decent way to kill a few hours. Not sure there was much choice after 2 am near DFW, but it will not be my first stop the next time I'm in Dallas. There was a serious lack of attractive dancers...most were 5's or 6's with some extra weight or just plain old and busted up. However, diversity of dancer ethnicity was great...should have no problem finding what you like...as long as you aren't looking for Baby Doll type beauties.

Cover was a shocking $20, but makes sense for a BYOB (I didn't bring anything in). They had an attractive hostess walk me to a seat and give a nice introduction to the club. It wasn't really necessary as there were only about 15 customers in the club, but I enjoyed the personalized service, especially for a first-time visitor. She took my drink order (a bottle of water and huge cup of ice for $10) and I sat down to relax and take in the vibe. The music was a much better mix of up-beat R&B, hard rock and EDM...I needed that to keep me awake after a long day.

The club itself is very nice, excellent tiered seating in-the-round, good sound AV system, fairly dark lighting for customers, but a real club vibe light board behind the stage. Unfortunately, there is no real tipper's row...just table seating about 10 feet from the stage. I didn't even come up front once to tip any of the dancers (this is usually my favorite aspect of a club...tipping through a stage rotation and picking out favorites...you learn so much about dancer personality and friendliness that way, but maybe I'm just a sucker for when a dancer tells me I'm the hottest guy in the club). Unfortunately, the dancers were just not worth the effort to get up from my seat and walk the 20 feet up to the stage. The stage is large in front with 3-4 poles...a nice setup though.
