Stopped by on a Sunday evening...

Stopped by on a Sunday evening after reading some reviews on here. Clubs is located at the corner of 54th & Pearl St, half a block from Haverford. Not a great neighborhood, but as long as you mind yourself you shouldn't have any issues. Paid $10 and made my way inside. I was NOT searched by security, so this is concerning as anybody apparently can walk in and shoot up the place if they please. As previously reported, Sunday is definitely the best day to go, as there were a decent amount of dancers to choose from. Mainly AA girls, but there were about 3-4 white girls were in there as well. Asked a gentleman what time they closed and he told me 10:30pm, but after closing he said that the girls go to an after hour spot around the corner from the club which is open until 5am. Unfortunately I got distracted and forgot to ask for the location. Given the vibe that I got during my visit, I suspect this after hour spot is more than likely a "hole in the wall" type of venue (which I LOVE).

Decided to check out both floors before I got settled in. Downstairs where the bar is the space is very limited due to the proximity of the bar in respects to the wall (very narrow). Not the most comfortable place to get a few dances in at. But since the bar is downstairs and the guys hang out down there, the dancers follow suit and understandably so. Upstairs is more spacious but the stage is rather small. As mentioned in other reviews there is the long bench along the wall opposite the stage.
