After being away from the Huntsville...
After being away from the Huntsville scene for about 18 months I recently visited Visions twice in the past few weeks. The first visit was on a Saturday night, the other was a week and a half later on a Wednesday evening. The lap dance area has changed a little since the last time I was there. The two booths on the end nearest the front desk now have curtains and are VIP booths. You must pay for 1/2 hour ($150) or one hour ($300) increments to the house in advance. The VIP booths with curtains also now have benches, rather than the chairs they once had for the patron to sit upon. For that reason I will probably stay with the normal lap dances in the future so that I can get them in one of the booths that has a chair, rather than a bench. Some of the regular lap dance booths have benches and others have chairs. I think the chairs allow the dancer more mobility when moving around on your lap.
Saturday visit on April 5: It was slow to dead for a weekend night. I arrived around 8 p.m. and left well after midnight. It never really picked up the entire time I was there. For the most part the dancers were average or a bit below average, but there were two or three that were absolutely stunning and a couple more that were above average and made sitting through the entire rotation worth it. I got dances from three different girls. The mileage was variable. All of them allowed some northern exploration but one (the best looking dancer in the club that night) seemed a little uncomfortable with even that. All three did a decent grind but the same one that seemed unhappy with the northern exploration also ground more on my belt/stomach than on the areas that I would have preferred that are a little lower. The other two let the hands wander a little more with one a little more permissive than the other. Both found ways within the rules of the house to give attention to my areas that needed it. On my last visit to the lap dance area I noticed curtains on the last two booths near the front desk and after my dances were over asked my dancer what that was about. She told me it was for VIP dances. See details of my 4/16 visit below for more info on the VIP booths.
Wednesday visit on April 16: There were quite a few more customers in the place than a week and a half earlier on the Saturday visit. I arrived around 8 p.m. and left around midnight. Many of the same dancers were working but the best looking one from 4/5 was not there and a few more average to below average dancers were working that I had not seen on the previous visit. I came in that night intending to get one VIP dance from a specific dancer and that is what I did. Mileage with her was about the same as with her in the normal lap dance booths, maybe just a tad bit higher. But the cramped quarters caused by the bench and the curtain that was too close detracted from the experience. I will probably just opt for the normal lap dance booths in the future. As far as the customer goes, the $150/half hour in the VIP will buy six songs in the regular booths. I'm guessing the average song in this club runs around 4 minutes so you are giving up about one song in the lap dance booths compared to the VIP. For the dancers, however, they only earn $100 for the 1/2 hour VIP and earn $120 for six lap dances. I tipped my dancer the extra $20 at the beginning of our VIP and then tipped her what I normally would have at the end. By the time you figure that extra $20 into it there really isn't much difference in terms of $/minute.
