I always try to make it to TJ whenever I am in San Diego. Lots of reports about how unsafe it is, I have never had a problem, my last visit, two weeks ago Tuesday I decided to play it safe though. there is a somewhat new border crossing, I think I might have turned the wrong way to get to the closest taxis but my plan was to just take a cab to Adelitas and also visit Hong Kong, very close together, and then be out of there by sunset. No problem.

Hong Kong is now much nicer than Adelitas, always more going on, more dancers, more girls handing around, the music is still too loud. They really should get some top flight tequila there. However, there is alway more entertainment at Hong Kong though I also appreciate Adelita's as well.

This time just went in and hung around a little bit. No trouble from the waiters, just got a beer and a shot of tequila. I think the girls here may be a little prettier overall than Adelitas, definitely a little classier environment, for which you pay a little bit.
