Came here one evening after a friend's birthday party. I've passed by a few times during my trips to the Palisdade's mall and I always wanted to stop in. When I first walk in, they have some softcore porn playing, which I actually thought was a nice touch. After paying the cover (I can't remember how much, as I may have had a few too many beers at that point) I sat down at Gawker's row. The show wasn't bad, and no one really hassled me. There was no dollar parade that I can really remember, which was nice considering my experience is primarily with NJ/Philly clubs. The dancers were okay. There were the ice-cold eastern europeans, and then some middle aged women who were more than eager to grab me for a dance. I was less than impressed, but that may have been because I was now sober (had been drinking water) and the dances I got from the europeans were almost air dances, and when I got dances from the older women, I could practically smell "pancake" batter on their breaths, which made their somewhat interesting offers a little less than appetizing. Overall I spent the better part of 2 hours and about a two fifty here, just sampling dances, drinking water and tipping generously. Overall the money wasn't terribly spent, but I was a bit let down. I'm not sure if it was the place itself, the women, or the impending hangover. I just had an overall "meh" experience. But then again, maybe I've gotten too picky.
