So I finally made it to...

So I finally made it to the legendary Dollie's. I had an image, from various reviews, that there would be a bunch of PLs lining the stage, with dancers of marginal quality running down the line, from one to the next, groping and being groped, for 2-dollar tips.

And maybe it is that way sometimes. But I walked in at about 6:30 on a Monday, and there was nobody on stage, and maybe 2 guys in the place, sitting at the bar, far from the stage. And a few not-so-lovelies hanging around the bar, checking their phones and chatting with the bartender, counting the minutes until their shifts ended.

A pretty depressing scene. But I was thirsty, and the beer was cheap and cold, so I hung around a while. Got to chatting with the one other guy nearby, a regular. He told be about this one amazing girl who came in sometimes for the night shift, named Honey. He didn't know if she'd be in tonight, but if so, I should definitely stick around to meet her.
