The Cabaret Sex Appeal is a downstairs club on the more run-down side of Ste Catherine Street close to the Quartier des Spectacles. Often during the major Montreal festivals the hawker outside will be encouraging men to join the fun downstairs

They used to be a $15 a dance club, but as of recently they are now offering a two tier pricing scheme $10 and $15. I haven't tried the $15 option, the ten dollar option is in a small booth where you are allowed to touch the girl everywhere except the kitty. Your mileage may vary, as some of the dancers give a good grind.

The girls are not as spectacular as at some of the more downtown clubs, but there is the occasional gem.

I recommend this club if you are looking for some variety. Generally the club is dead until about 11:00 pm when more patrons show up.
