After being disappointed at Fannies, I decided to try Riley's. The small parking lot was fairly crowded so I was expecting a good mix of dancers and customers. WRONG. I entered and a guy puffing on a cigarette was in the entrance booth and told me no cover charge. I soon understood. There was a customer and a dancer at the bar, a customer at a table playing with his phone and it turned out to be the DJ at another end of the bar. I waited about 5 minutes for the bartender to get my $4.25 beer. Guess with all the activity going on she did not see me at the empty bar.
The dancer and her customer moved over to a table in a corner of the room for a few lap dances. From what I could notice, it looked like she was giving some good contact, but I tried not to stare. No other dancers came out in the 45 minutes it took me to drink my beer. I tried to engage the bartender in some conversation, but she as more interested in her phone.
When I gave a 10 for money goes a long way, it was due to getting a relatively inexpensive beer and there was no other way to spend any money.
