On my survey of the East...

On my survey of the East St.Louis area clubs, I decided to try this place after a disappointing hour or so at Hollywood. I walked in to this dark, dingy place around 6 on a Saturday, and I found myself the only customer there. There appeared to be maybe four dancers, three of which attracted me not in the least. I sat and nursed a couple gin-and-tonics until the single attractive dancer hit the stage. I can say that the stageside mileage is excellent, something I've found to be the case in nearly every club in this area, and something I really haven't experienced anywhere else in the country.

She got off stage, and we shared a drink, she asked if I wanted a private dance. $5 for a "wristband" to go back, then $30 per dance. With the mileage by the stage what it was, I was expecting good things. But what transpired was one of the most lackluster lap dances I've ever experienced. Just a straddle and disinterested grind, for maybe 3 minutes. It was getting near shift change... I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she just wanted to go home.

It was couples night...I wouldn't have minded observing the activities, but I got the idea they were going to strictly enforce the "no single men" rule. So I split. Doubt I'll be back.
