A couple of friends and I...
A couple of friends and I stopped by Henry's as the nearby bar we were at was dead. I hadn't been to Henry's in at least 10 years and it hasn't changed much. There is a central stage with two poles in the middle of the club and two other stages with one pole each in a raised seating area. The club is relatively dark and dingy and the non-smoking ban is not enforced there. The bathrooms are small and cramped.
The cover was $5 and a soft drink or bottled water was $6.50 while a pitcher of beer was $20. To get a private dance requires a $10 fee which gets you a wristband for the night and dances are $20 each.
We got there shortly before 11PM and there were around six girls working with about 25 patrons. Four of the girls were black and two of them were cute little spinners. All of the other girls were rather unimpressive. We were quickly approached by a drunk blond ( natural c-cups, tattoos, with some curves) who chatted with us and then offered some dances while dropping hints of extras. We passed. I personally wait until I've seen all of the other girls on stage. She said she would be back later, but that was the last girl we talked to for the next two and a half hours. We did have some pleasant conversations with the wait-staff, most of whom were hotter than the dancers, and one of the bartenders was a gorgeous brunette who I'm guessing was also a dancer, just not that night.
I could see the VIP room which now has curtains and what I'm guessing are individula booths, but I never got back there to see for myself. Still it looked better than the old days of an open room with lawn chairs.
All-in-all Henry's the night was bust and Henry's is still a sad dive bar.
