I had a couple of free hours so decided to make a tour of the Brookpark strip scene. I picked three places because reading TUSCL reviews, it seemed these three kind of spanned the gamut of possibilities. The three: Amber's Cabaret, Platinum Horse Cabaret, and Gigi Lounge - in that order. All three clubs required pasties on the dancers. Individual reviews to follow.

Platinum Horse Cabaret - This is my first visit to this club. The interior is very nice, in fact quite glitzy. I would have given the physical club rating a 10 if I hadn't gone in the bathroom and seen the plywood patches on the stall door covering some sort of problem.

There was only one other guy in the place when I got here, sitting with a dancer at the bar. I also sat at the bar, ordered a drink and watched the dancer on stage finish her set and go into the backroom. The dancer sitting at the bar then went on stage. As she danced, the guy she was sitting with got up, tipped her, then left. The girl on stage finished her set and disappeared into the back room - so now it's just me and the bartender. Eventually another dancer came out and asked if I wanted a dance. Since I was here and she was OK I took her up on it. The bartender escorted us to the raised dance area - why I don't know - which was very nice. The girl danced - all air - for $20. I asked if that was the typical dance. She told me there was no touching while a dancer was topless.
