I had a couple of free hours so decided to make a tour of the Brookpark strip scene. I picked three places because reading TUSCL reviews, it seemed these three kind of spanned the gamut of possibilities. The three: Amber's Cabaret, Platinum Horse Cabaret, and Gigi Lounge - in that order. All three clubs required pasties on the dancers. Individual reviews to follow.

Amber's Cabaret - This was the first of today's visits, and as it turned out it was the best of the bunch. I've been to this club in the past, and the physical club has not changed. After being buzzed in, I went to the bar to sit. As it turned out, about half the seats were taken. I moved down to near the end and sat next to a dancer who was doing some paperwork. We started a conversation and I ended up getting a number of dances from her. The going rate is $20, although some deals can be had for volume. The dances were pretty good despite the fact that the area was totally open to the rest of the bar, and a "watchdog" sat right outside the railing, occasionally looking back at the dance area and occasionally "suggesting" to one of the dancers that she "watch it".

I got a couple of dances from two of the other girls. Nothing special and not really worth doing. In general the dancers were older, more experienced, and fairly laid back. They were also not in tip-top physical condition. I would go back here if in the area again.
