I hadn't been in Cheetah's for...
I hadn't been in Cheetah's for a couple three months, so I thought I'd stop in for a beer or two. Unfortunately I discovered they had done some minor renovations since I was in last. They used to have a simple structure to the lapdance charges. It used to be $10 dances anywhere on the floor and couches and $20 dances upstairs in VIP with an entry fee involved. So now they've closed off most of those couches to add some kind of minor VIP... leaving a three tiered system of confusion. Here's how it was explained to me by my friend Lily. The VIP upstairs stay the same (I think, I wasn't paying close enough attention because she was topless and I don't go up there anyway).. and the dances at the table with the annoying wheeled seats stay at $10.. but the dances on the closed off couches require a $10 wristband purchase.. with the dances now costing $15.. except for the two couches that remain open next to the DJ booth still costing $10 except you need a wristband there too. Got that? I didn't. Apparently this was the brilliant idea of a new manager but its a bad one. More simpler is more gooder. Oh, I think they added a couple new televisions and a food service station next to the stage. Personally I'd rather the food stay in back as long as possible. I can see what they're trying to do here.. increase revenue stream with wristbands.. increase food purchases by making the food more visible.. but.. umm.. no.
