Was at the Northern on a...

Was at the Northern on a Monday night about 2 weeks back. The club itself is nice enough. Large bar area on the left when you enter. The stage is straight ahead. Pretty typical setup with chairs and some smaller tables around the stage, high top tables around the bar and some raised seating in the vip/table dance area. Cover to get in was $7 or 8 can't remember exactly. I got in at the very end of a 2 for one drink special that was a pretty good deal but otherwise drink prices were pretty standard for a club at around $4-5.

There were a lot of girls working for a Monday, more than 10 for sure. As always there was something for everyone and I would say the girls ranged from 6-8. Some traveling girls from larger cities and some local girls from the college or just the town but all the ones that I talked to were friendly. Some would stay to chat you up but a few would just basically walk up and immediately push the private dances and move on if you declined. Dancers were on stage for 2 song sets. really no contact of any type at the rail. most customers would walk up to tip and not stay at the rail. Most of the girls working the floor were pushing vip. I was quoted $125 for 15 minutes and lead to believe that some 2-way contact would be allowed. All in all though things seemed to be fairly strict and above board. There were $20 dances available for 1 song but they seemed really low contact.

There was a girl or two there I was interested in taking to the vip, at least for the 15m to see how it went, but they were not short on attention from other customers so nothing happened that night. I bought some drinks, tipped at the stage and saved my money for the next time. All in all, I had a good time but it was nothing special. I guess as the only option in town, it doesn't really have to be.
