The Gold Club After Dark in...

The Gold Club After Dark in Hartford (also called the Gold Club Connection) is a great club if you’re unlucky enough to be under 21 or an old pervert like me that likes to see some young pussy. No alcohol is served. But you can walk less than 50 feet next door and have a drink at the topless only side of the Gold Club. The talent is the same as at the Gold Club next door, mostly hot college-age girls. As an “after hours club” it opens sometime around 9 pm and stays open until at least 4 am. As you enter, there’s a $15 cover (or only $5 if you already paid a cover next door) A bouncer stamps your hand so that you can leave and reenter the Club, which is good if you want to float back and forth between the two sides of the club. There’s a small juice bar to the left that serves Red Bull, soda and bottled water for $5. Past the bar on the left is the ATM and the restrooms. The main stage is visible from the door. It’s a runway style with 25 or so seats where you sit low. There’s usually vacant seats until around 11. After that it’s almost impossible to get a seat at the stage. I think the stage show is the best thing about this club. Almost all the ladies get totally naked. And you get a lot of good one way contact with tits and even pussy right in your face:) But you can’t touch the ladies… at least not with your hands;) Surrounding the stage there’s lots of lounge chair seating and even reserved VIP seating at the back of the club. Lap dances are done on an elevated area overlooking the rest of the club that’s accessed by stairs over by the front door. The lap dance area has open-end booths that face each other so there’s not much privacy if anyone else is up there. Plus there’s cameras in the lap dance area and the bouncers make rounds, especially during the specials. But the very last booths next to the mirrored wall can sometimes be good with the right entertainer. The dances cost an outrageous $35 each that is paid directly to your entertainer (usually after your dance). But every hour or so after about 10:30, the club runs specials where you get 2 lap dances for $45 plus a deck of playing cards with nudie pics of girls that haven’t worked here in ages. According to the club’s rules no touching by the customer is allowed…but YMMV;) Most dancers give you a decent lap dance with good grinding, very few give air dances. This side of the club also has its own two VIP rooms (“Champagne Rooms” but without alcohol). Each room is totally enclosed and separate from the rest of the club. They’re located on the right side behind tinted glass doors and down a few steps. Inside each there’s four or so open booth-like velvet benches facing into the dimly lit room. The rooms cost an insane $180 for only 15 minutes or $320 for 30 minutes. You pay the whole fee directly to the club before you do the VIP. The club then pays the dancer at the end of the night if she’s followed all their stupid rules. Although better then next door, the VIP is still pretty tame compared to other nearby clubs like Electric Blue and even Mardi Gras. Plus there’s no privacy unless you’re the only one in the room and even then smile because your on candid camera! Now there’s a few big negatives on the nude side that are not present on the topless side of the Gold Club. First, the club requires everyone to buy at least 2 drinks. Unfortunately alcoholic drinks purchased next door don’t count. In the past buying one drink and giving a tip did the trick. But recently there’s been a nasty little waitress that hounds patrons for drinks even at the stage. She demands that you pay for two drinks upfront. Then every fifteen minutes or so demands you buy even more drinks. The second drawback is that because it’s 18 plus, it attracts a lot of broke ass kids. They don’t spend a cent and hog the seats at the stage usually without even tipping. They’re just a nuisance in general. Then there’s as one stripper here put it “the ghetto fabulous crowd” that rolls in around midnight. That’s my cue to leave when I feel like Tom Arnold in the movie Soul Plane. On the negative or positive side (depending your view) is that smoking is allowed inside the club. Now on the bright side there seems to be a glimmer of hope that things may be getting a little more liberal here. Many of the ladies have been a bit more daring lately. On one of my last visits while waiting for my lap dance to begin, my entertainer took her thong off and then with a devious smile sat right on my hand:) Best of all the combination of strict rules, few big spenders and several nearby cheap ho-tels means that many ladies will throw you their digits after a lap dance. Bottom line- the lap dances may be too expensive and too tame, and the VIP sometimes kind of lame. But the Gold Club consistently has lots of pretty young ladies and you can see some pussy really up close for a buck! So when I’m in the Hartford area I like to stop by with a pocket full of ones and enjoy the view on stage along with my $10 bottle of water. Then head home… but many times not alone;)
