Still my favorite club in Winston...

Still my favorite club in Winston - but 2 gripes. The new DJ they have is HORRIBLE. Filly's has always been a laid back chill club, but this DJ Is loud and obnoxious and is one of the types that thinks everyone comes to see him. He turns the music up so loud at random points that you can't even hear the person besides me and the moron likes to scream at the top of his lungs into the mic. It is almost uncomfortable to sit through if you are anywhere near the speakers and if it's like this next visit I am going to complain to management. I am a paying member of their club and I don't come in for hearing loss.

Secondly, they have remodeled the old VIP room and now have private booths which they do a "2 for 1" at various times through the night. To start with they charge $40 for 2 songs so it's not really a true 2 for 1 like they want you to believe. I gave it a try due to the newness and the supposed privacy. Well you do have a private booth with a curtain in front but a bouncer walks through and apparently can look at a reflection in the ceiling to see what's going on. You will get a quick "hands on the side please sir" if you get handsy so watch for the bouncer. Won't be doing another one of these as long as they want to be strict. You want people's $ Filly's? Chill the fuck out, it's supposed to be a private VIP booth.
