Hit up Palomino for a friend's...
Hit up Palomino for a friend's bachelor party. Hadn't been around for maybe a year or so and it's improved a bit, I think.
The cover was a bit steep at 30, but that's typical for Vegas clubs on a Saturday (unless you're a local). Decent priced drinks too. This was the first time that I've been here when the upstairs section is open and I quite liked it. Small stage with a pole that was running a lineup alongside the main stage downstairs. We mostly stayed upstairs since it was a little more laid back and not quite as noisy. Eventually it got crowded up there, with mostly non-tourist locals, and girls started jumping up on another small stage. This one was in the far corner and was not a true lineup being announced by the DJ. It kinda just seemed like whichever girl wanted to get up there could. One girl danced for 7 or 8 songs straight because people would bit stop tipping her. Overall, for stage show stuff and drinking/hanging with buds, this is a great spot.
Lap dances were okay. It's pretty crowded so we didn't get approached too often or pushed too hard. Dances out on the floor are 25 and are decent test runs, but that shit seems real weird to me when it happens out in the open like that. I grabbed one of the girls who was giving me eyes when I was sitting at the rail for the VIP. The VIP setup is private with curtains, but the pricing is a little wonky but not too expensive. I think it was like 3 songs for 100 and I did maybe 6 songs? I dunno lost track.
