Well, it seems as though some things don't change, and in this case, that's not too great for Sammy's. We went into the club tonight to celebrate heading out on the annual golf trip. Paid our cover, got a seat at the bar and had just ordered when I started getting hit up to buy a drink for a girl who was having a bad night. I don't mind buying a drink for a girl, but I hate buying a 20 dollar drink so the girl gets a tip for a crap drink. I'd rather get a dance. Just not from her. Music seemed a little loud, and the dj was berating the crowd and trying to shame guys into tipping. Another deal breaker for me when the girl on stage isn't even trying to dance. An off night, I'm not sure what was going on. However, my visits to Sammy's keep getting fewer and farther between. Drink prices are on the high side of average, especially for good bourbon. The quality of the dancers seems somewhat lackluster. It used to be that Sammy's generally had some really beautiful women, but now it seems as if there hiring standards have dropped. Had fun, but only because of the company I was with and not the club I was at. Save your money, and go to a club you know is worthwhile!
