This was a horrible way to end a horrible night. My night started at Mons Venus, I had wonderful times their in the past and was all psyched for another great night. Unfortunately, "the place that never changes" has changed. Seeing that I was not going to have any fun there, I decided to go across the street for the first time ever and hit 2001. I had read good reviews and was hopeful that I could have a good time. The cover was $20 which is the same as Mons, BUT they had a one-drink minimum. Now has anyone ever heard of a drink minimum at a no alcohol club? I think, whatever, so I go in. This place is loud, no, Loud, no LOUD, no MAKING MY EARS BLEED LOUD. It was also very small. I was used to Mons being small, but I was shocked how small it was, as well as the strange layout. While there were plenty of other female customers at Mons, I was by myself at 2001, and the dancers seemed to be offended by the fact. I didn't stay long, I didn't enjoy the time I spent, and I won't go back. I guess I have to find a whole new strategy when I go to Tampa. A very disappointing trip to be sure.
