Ok, this place is... interesting. I heard that the Ironbound in Newark had a "strip club coffee shop," so I decided to check it out, just for kicks. Indeed, it is just that - a coffee shop with latina dancers (though I heard there were also black dancers in the evenings) and lap dances in a private (curtained) VIP room.

I got there about a half-hour after opening in the early afternoon; I was the only patron at the time. There was Colombian cumbia playing on the jukebox when I walked in; after I sat down it suddenly changed to hip hop. There were two women behind the "bar," fully dressed; I assumed they were the waitresses. One came by to give me a menu. It had sandwiches and espresso drinks. I ordered a latte; the waitress asked "what's that? I don't know what that is." And suddenly I realized that the waitress might actually be a dancer. I ordered a cappuccino instead; she seemed to know what that was. I passed on the sandwiches. The waitress came back, gave me the coffee, and then just started grinding on me while stripping out of her jeans. Soon she was down to a thong, bra and heels. I tipped her some ones, and she was very friendly. She also had an amazing ass under those jeans.

Everything was fine and actually enjoyable until the upsell started for the VIP room. Not sure why a VIP room was necessary at the time; she and I were the only people there. But she insisted on $40 for the room, plus her tip which would be at least $40. I passed; $80 is more than I want to pay for a good lapdance in Newark.
