It would be generous to call this a neighborhood club. It's a slightly scary joint to walk into, dark and more than a little dingy. It's the kind of place where all the people at the bar turn and stare at you when you walk in.

I went on a weekday afternoon and paid the $5 daytime cover to go in. After I paid, the same guy who took my money went behind the bar to serve me a drink. Then a big, thick African American dancer who had definitely seen many better days immediately came over and started to chat me up. I just wasn't into it so I politely told her I was just going to hang out. Whereupon she goes back to the bar and loudly tells her dancer friend that it looks like I'm into white girls. I looked around, saw the other girls were 2-4, and bolted.
