Forrest Gump said life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Well, Forrest would have loved the Jewel Box. I've been here and had a great time. I've also been here and wanted to burn my clothes and the top layer of my skin immediately after leaving. This particular trip, however, was a good one. There were a reasonable number of dancers on shift, all of whom seemed drama free (or were at least together enough not to lay it on the customers). Sat down to survey the talent and soon had a skinny blonde approaching me. Sure you can sit down. Made a little conversation and was pleasantly surprised to find she could hold one without an immediate sales pitch. I wasn't in much of a mood for dances when I came in, but she won me over and I decided to go for a 20 minute spin. Had a wonderful time with a very high mileage lap dance. Tipped her well and headed back out into the sunlight. It will never be one of my top places on the Block, but the Jewel Box is usually good for at least a look if you're on a crawl.
