I've never been to Rick's on...

I've never been to Rick's on a weekend night. If my experience was typical then I've been missing out. The atmosphere was lively and the talent was very good. Had a sampling of dances from about 6 dancers all 8 or above. Dancers are given table-side out in the open (unless one splurges for VIP) and the mileage is fairly low, as is typical for NY clubs. Tip for those wanting to save money: free cover passes are plentiful, especially after a sporting event @ MSG. Opt to hang out by the bar instead of getting a table. That way you can scope out the room, without being a sitting target, and be more selective.
