I went a couple of weeks...

I went a couple of weeks ago for one of their “Bottomless Wednesdays”. It was $20 for cover, unlimited soft drinks, and a lap dance. The first thing I noticed when I walked up was an application for a liquor license on the front window. I asked the guy at the door if this meant that they would no longer be a full-nude club. He told me that they were planning to remodel, so that downstairs (which currently has nothing but the restrooms) would be the bar area, and upstairs would still be full-nude. I’m not sure how that will work out, but that’s an issue for another time.

There are two stages in opposite corners of the main area, with chairs in the middle that can be turned to face either one. I’ve only ever seen one in use at a time. On this visit, it was the one further away from the DJ booth. There are couches along two walls in the main area, where the floor dances take place. With the stage they were using on this visit, these couches give a lousy view of the stage. VIP is in a room off to one side, and is just rows of high-back, clamshell chairs. It provides a little more privacy than the floor dances, but not much. At least they’re cheap, at $10 each with a minimum of 3. VIPs are prepaid at the bar. Suites are off to the other side, behind the bar, but were too rich for my blood that night. From what I could see, they looked to have at least one glass wall that could be covered by thick curtains.

A lot of customers when I first arrived, but it thinned out as the evening progressed. A good number of dancers as well, but when they offered two-for-one floor dances in the dark, there weren’t enough girls to go around. Nice-looking girls, a lot of solid 8s. The girls at Imperial are really good on the pole. Most of the other clubs I’ve been to make minimal use of the pole, but these girls go for it. Lots of spinning, some at height, and some managing to disrobe while spinning. Girls are pretty accepting if you tell them that you don’t want a dance yet, but they don’t necessarily give you a second chance. This can be problematic if you like to scope out the scene and see some dancing before you jump into more intimate encounters, like I do.
