Haven’t visited for a year and stopped by during happy hour Thursday. It’s still an attractive, clean, reasonably-priced, safe club with a laid-back attitude, perhaps too laid back. On my two recent visits, there were several songs when there were NO dancers on any of the three stages despite the DJ calling out names. Looks vary widely; some dancers are good-looking with tight bodies, while others don’t qualify as pretty or are way too skinny or “full-figured.” Until now, I’ve never seen someone dance wearing glasses; I saw two last night. No hustle during my 90-minute visit: girls didn’t work the room for lap dances or even tips. Between stage times some sat with customers they befriended; it seemed like after enough time, the guys went in the back for a lap dance, but otherwise traffic there was non-existent. Others girls sat against the wall staring into iPhones, a common sight on all my previous visits. The most attractive one this Thursday night spent a little bit of her off-stage time giving a few mini-dances to some customers in the main room then most of her time talking to a barmaid. One girl’s apparent routine was to shuttle between the locker room and the ladies room with no stage time. No wonder girls tell me they like working there. On my last visit, there were no waitresses because of “shift change” so I got my own drink at the bar. Shift change during happy hour? I came with money for lap dances but since no one bothered to ask, I left with it. The guy handing out paper towels in the men's room got more in tips from me than the dancers because he made an effort. It's an OK club for some nude and semi-nude eye-candy but getting lap dances is hit-or-miss lately.
