I went to the Show Palace...

I went to the Show Palace in LIC on a Saturday night around 9 PM. The club is very easy to get to from the city by taking the F train. I had a free pass that I received by signing up for their mailing list so the cover was free. Mandatory coat check was in effect but no big deal. You do have to pass through a metal detector which makes me feel a little cautious but the neighborhood did not seem too seedy. The club itself is very nice. Large rotating chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, large TV screens in several locations, nice seating and bar. You can tell it was designed to imitate the Las Vegas SC scene. It was very slow when I got there so I had a seat at the bar and talked for quite a while to a very cute AA bartender about the club, work, etc. She explained that since the club was fully nude and did not serve alcohol, the patrons tended to show up later than normal. The club is open until 8 AM on the weekends so many people do not show up until the other clubs shut down at 4 AM. I had no intention of being there that late so I hoped it would pick up soon. One dancer approached me while I was sitting at the bar and the only other dancer in the club was a large breasted AA girl who was dancing on the main stage. There were maybe 5 people that were watching and no tipping was going on that I could see. The first dancer that sat down and started talking to we was not unattractive but by Manhattan standards was a 5 at best. I decided to wait it out for a bit and see if some more talent showed up soon. At about 10 PM another girl walked in wearing her street clothes and I thought she looked pretty cute so that was encouraging. About 15 minutes later she walked up and started talking to me. She was young and cute wearing black framed glasses that gave her that innocent schoolgirl look that I can't resist. She was probably a 6 but the glasses made her rate much higher in my book. We talked for quite a while with no pressure for dances or to buy her a drink so I was already liking the difference from the high pressure of the Manhattan club scene. We eventually got around to discussing the private dance situation. Lappers on the club floor are out in the open, topless only and are $10 each with pretty much one way contact. Private dances are done in number of booths in the back, fully nude and are $75 for 3 songs which is about 10-12 minutes, $150 for 30 minutes, and $300 for an hour and that includes the dancer and the room. Very reasonable by any standard I have seen. The booths do have cameras mounted in the corner of the ceiling and I assume they are operational but every girl I took back for a private dance, hands were roaming all over in both directions and they was never an interruption from anyone. Each booth has a velvet curtain for privacy and a wide bench to sit on as well as a small table for drinks and personal items. The drinks are pretty reasonable as well even though there are no alcoholic libations to choose from. Red Bull was $8 and sodas and waters were $5.

The first private dance I used to gauge the mileage that I was liable to receive and was pleasantly surprised with the results. As I said, my hands were free to roam everywhere I wanted though I did not try to insert any digits. I kissed everything that was put in my face which was pretty much everything and sucked on her cute and perky natural C cups to my heart's desire. Over the next few hours several more dancers made their way in wearing street clothes and then came out in various stages of undress to tease the growing clientele. By midnight or 1 AM there were 10-12 dancers working and 20-30 customers in the club. Many different ethnicities and body types were represented but there were more AA dancers than most Manhattan clubs but there were also Dominican, Eastern European, American, Latin, and 1 Chinese available. All told I took six different dancers back to the back for a 3 song set and pretty much went around the world with my choice of ladies. The system for buying private dances is paying the price for the dances to the bartender and then tipping is optional after the dance.

Overall I would say the dancers were mostly in the 6-8 range but the fact that the lappers are nude and full contact along with the laid back atmosphere, this club is definitely on my rotation of clubs that I will visit when I come to the city. As a matter of fact, between this club and nearby Gallaghers 2000, I am not sure the clubs in Manhattan will ever see me darken their door again.
