For a daytime / early evening...

For a daytime / early evening spot in the city, it's hard to beat Ricks. Most other clubs are pretty much empty until 8-9 pm, but ricks has a solid day shift and cheap drinks until 8. So if you're looking to hang out for a little while after work, or even midday, this is the place. It's also really easy to get here, lots of nearby subways and easy to get a cab.

On this particular visit I was immediately greeted by a familiar young lady and took her up on some dances. Some good contact but I know her so I wouldn't expect that on your first visit necessarily. She was doing her job of upselling VIP but I didn't bite (though I have in the past). I didn't stay too long, since I set my spend limit and hit it quickly- cheap booze and friendly girl will do that.

I didn't notice a ton of other girls that piqued my interest- but the shift change happens around 8, so it was starting to fill out when I left.
