Haven't been here in years, but...

Haven't been here in years, but had a few hours before a flight so I swung past to see what I've been missing. Place seems bigger than I remember, they've sunk some money into it. Settled into a seat on the lower level with about five others, had a drink and hoped for the best. But monday afternoon is often a weak time to go clubbing and it was the case for me here. Only a couple of dancers on the floor, and none to my liking. I know it's difficult to keep up talent levels, and the idea of something for everyone or different things turn on different people. But even being generous, I was pretty disappointed and ready to leave in less than an hour. Perhaps as the day wore on things would pick up and my memories of this place are all in the evening, so I may be expecting too much.
