I stopped in on a Thursday...

I stopped in on a Thursday evening after work. The parking lot was nearly empty. That should have been a clue right there. There was no cover charge so I took a seat at the bar and ordered a happy hour priced beer. The club is nothing fancy, but the first thing I noticed was it was freezing in there. There were only a couple of space heaters for warmth. I moved down to the end of the bar near one of the heaters. The second thing I noticed was that it was deserted. Looking around I saw 1 dancer hanging on what I assume was a regular, and 1 really skinny AA dancer standing near the stage. So the total was 1 barmaid, 2 dancers and me. Skinny came over and made small talk for a while and asked if I wanted a dance. I took her up on it since that was the whole reason I was there. I donated a couple dollars for the juke box and she got started with some pretty good bar dances. Lots of mutual hands on experience, with the occasional flash of kitty. She suggested we visit the vip room. It's not private, just a big room with seating all around. The full menu was available, but I opted for just an appetizer, which I enjoyed. 3 songs later we returned to the bar. Still no one else there, still freezing cold, so I finished up my beer and headed out. Not a great place, not a terrible place, but I left happy, and that's all I was looking for.
