Went to Phoenix to observe a few spring training games during the first week in March and decided to test out some of Phoenix’s well known gentlemen’s clubs. My first stop was HiLiter on a Thursday afternoon. After arriving at 3pm noticed that the parking lot was almost full – generally a good sign for a club. It’s definitely a small club that’s north of Downtown Phoenix about 4 miles so it’s out in a quiet residential neighborhood.

Since I got to the club around 3pm the cover was free of charge but the door lady offered me a beer. You could tell that this club was popular because it was close to 3/4s full in the afternoon. The atmosphere seemed to be very lively with a good mix of patrons and girls doing their thing. The club had small circular tables with cushy seats that surrounded one main stage. It was a little bit cramped in the middle of the club because of the small size of the club but there were seats on the left hand side wall opposite the bar that were for 15 bucks and dances in the middle tables were 10 bucks. Most dancers really didn’t work the pole much which was a disappointment and most of their energy was geared towards working the patrons on the floor for lap dances.

Unfortunately, most of the dancers rate as a 6 or below, none of them were higher than 7s in my books and there were a few really ancient looking ones who should’ve retired from dancing long ago. Lots of variety in the different types of dancers and ethnicities so there is a dancer for everyone here. I spent the first half hour sitting in the middle of the club and got a few dances for warm ups and then moved to the rail to tip some of the ladies because no one was doing any tipping. Then I moved to the wall seats where I did get quite a few wall dances from 4 different girls. All of them were very good with great two way touching, the highlight of which was a girl from Bolivia who although was not a looker gave great mileage, including a lot of grabbing of crotch and Mr. Johnson. One of them I took to the VIP for 3 VIP dances for about $25 per song. The seats in the VIP were comfortable but it was not really private and everyone could see what was happening. The curious thing was the girl asked me what I wanted during one of the dances, and at the time I didn’t think much of it, but then I realized afterward that she might have been offering extras. But now I am beating up myself for not pressing the matter more when I was with her.
