Pure Pleasure is still trying to...

Pure Pleasure is still trying to be a steakhouse on one side and a strip club on the other. I say "trying" because on the night I went there, I had the restaurant side to myself for the entire time I ate a not terrible steak (about on a part with a Western Sizzlin') with salad and potato. I could see the stage in the other side through an open set of doors, that are blocked by a table because, if I understood correctly, hard liquor is available in the steakhouse side, but cannot be carried to the strip club side. ABC regs, I guess.

The strip club side has been refurbished so that it now resembles Paper Moon somewhat with moderately plush chairs and tables surrounding the main stage (one pole) with "reserved" booths along one wall for parties. A smaller stage now graces the wall beyond the main stage.

There were only four dancers on shift while I was there (probably between the day and night shifts -- is was about 6:30 when I arrived and left about 8). All were moderately attractive "girl next door types". The club was pretty dead the whole time I was there. I did not use the restroom on the strip club side, so I cannot comment on the condition described in a review below, but the one on the steakhouse side was nothing to write home about.
