The Playmate is reliably one of the highest mileage spots in Ottawa, even moreso than the Quebec clubs. It is very conveniently located in an 'adult fun centre'. The actual club can be construed as a bit dingy but it does the job. There's a wide variety of dancers on at any given time... sometimes older and more experienced dancers, sometimes a young rookie, sometimes a few extra pounds, sometimes could use a few extra pounds and often at least a couple knockouts. There's usually someone to meet your desires. The champagne room is not so private but the 3 booths along the back wall offer the most privacy. YMMV and with the right dancer anything can happen.

In the same building as the club there is a massage parlor that's open until 2am if you need to unwind a bit. There is also a peep show type place with private viewing booths. If you find the right dancer in the playmate, she'll join you to watch a video. What happens in the booth, stays in the booth.
