Enjoyed a few afternoon visits over the last few months. Place is a basic hang-out bar with food and one stage. Very low key vibe in the daytime, but you might get a different experience after dark. This is in a light industrial type neighborhood, three miles south of the downtown SLC hotels, and a few short blocks from American Bush - making for an easy double visit on one outing.
Dancers: 12 x 12 raised stage with wall/rail and a combination of stage-side seating and scattered tables further away. One dancer at a time, doing 15 minute sets - about 3 to 5 full length songs. Dancers chose their own music from a machine, and when I was there in afternoons there was noticably less "hip hop" related music than other local clubs, likely catering to the older clientele. Dancer ranged from waifs to full-figured types. Think "girl next door" more than "she could be a model" for most I saw, but also a welcome absence of the stuck up attitude that uber-hotties sometimes show. If you seek lots of eye-candy, it will just depend on your preferences, but during afternoons you will only see two dancers alternating during each hour. So you would sometimes need to stay more than an hour to see more than two ladies. As per normal with Utah liquor serving clubs, dancers wear pasties and there is no contact during tipping and no private dances.
$$ = Drinks showed more care in preparation than other similar clubs in town. Bartenders know their craft - not just dancers picking up some extra cash pretending to know drinks. Margaritas are quite good, with a wide choice of options for tequilla. Lunch special every weekday for $5. So, with no door fee you can enjoy lunch + drink + tips for 3 dancers for about $20 to $50 depending on how long you stay and how much you tip.
