After being turned-off by some of LA's other terrible strip clubs (I mean terrible: few girls to choose from, ugly girls, no chance for extras, exorbitant prices) I gave Bare Elegance a try on a Friday night. Bare was a step up (albeit no match for Florida's strip scene). The energy was good. Though the club isn't overly big (not for my standards anyway), it was packed and the two stages were occupied by decent looking women. On the main stage, two girls danced (fully nude) while intermittently playing with each other!! The other stage was smaller, but the dancer (a nice 8) was putting on one hell of a show (completely nude and very, very explicit). After tipping her I waited for the 2-4-1 special (at $50 a dance, one without unlimited funds must be willing to wait). The dances are done in private booths, with closed curtains. Unlike most of Florida's SCs, the lap dances here were fully nude. Though the dance was fully nude and the girl grinded hard, there wasn't too much roaming allowed. I hinted about extras but both of the two girls I got dances from implied that they would be turned off to performing any extras. Given this vibe, the private room prices seemed extremely steep for the services provided.

Though Bare seemed to be one of LA's better clubs, it doesn't compare to Florida. Next time I'm in LA, I'd rather just take the trip 2 hours south and visit Kong. With Kong being so close, the LA strip club scene doesn't make too much sense.
