Had an overnight layover in Houston...

Had an overnight layover in Houston so decided to try a few clubs out. Went here based on proximity to my hotel. There is a metal detector at the front door, which usually isn't a good sign, but the door girl said it's just because they are in a bad neighborhood. Supposedly the St. James, which is a few blocks down, is "upscale". I guess they're talking about the club and not the neighborhood! The bulk of the club is in one big rectangular room with the main stage to your left when you walk in, a cage/stage in the middle and the bar to your right. They had a tv projected on the entire wall in the far back corner but you'd be pretty far away from the stages if you sat there. I got immediate service from a waitress when I sat down. The first thing I noticed is how dark and smoky this place was! The first beer was included with the cover, which I think was $10. Beers after that were $7 if I remember correctly. The music that night was all over the place, from rap to house. Most of the girls were a 5-6, with a few 7-8. There was a pretty hot Hispanic girl with a tramp stamp (don't remember her stage name but it was not the same as the tat) that I wanted to try out. Lap dances were $20 from her but it was pretty much an air-dance. There was a "new girl" with glasses that sat down with me and told me she wanted to dance for me because I looked "normal". Not sure what the heck that means, but I told her to come back in a little while but she never did. There was a little blond Caucasian girl (Natasha?) that I thought was okay so I let her sit with me when she asked. Not too much up top, but pretty face and nice ass! After the standard chit-chat she asked if I wanted some dances. I said yes and off we went. Pretty good two-way action, especially after she took of her extra layers and was down to the bottom one. I put my hands wherever I wanted and she seemed to enjoy it. She did get a little frisky with me, but it was mostly me playing with her. All-in-all it wasn't a bad way to spend a few hours. If it were the only place in town I'd probably go back if I were in Houston again, but it's not so I'll try the place down the road next time.
