As I have said before, this is a club that I have been visiting less and less lately. A few weeks ago, I gave it another shot - to my great disappointment. Having nothing better to do I went up to LA on a Sunday evening. That has generally been a good day for me in the past. It's not too crowded and from time to time I have come across a previously undiscovered honey. I got there about 8:45. And it looked a little deserted. But then I knew that generally more girls will trickle in starting at 9:00, because they have a house-imposed deadline to sign in by 10:00 for the last shift. So I waited... and waited... and waited. And so did everyone else. Nobody coming to work tonight? Even the managers and the security staff were getting a little frantic. They began chasing the few girls that did show up out of the dressing room onto the floor because there was really no one to dance with. The few girls that did show up (I counted seven altogether) were snapped up by waiting customers, out of desperation I assume, because they were really nothing special at all. Then customers began to trickle out. Pretty soon all you could see was the hired help. The couches were empty. All seven girls were on the floor. Two guys, besides me, were still in the club. I waited till about 10:15 and then walked out. I had never seen such a dismal night at Fantasy.
