I have been to 10+ strip clubs in San Antonio. XTC Cabaret is one of the best clubs in San Antonio. It is absolutely the best in certain categories, particularly with respect to the dancers the club employs. Almost all of the dancers employed at XTC are Vegas class entertainers - meaning they could go to Vegas and work if they chose to do so. Many of the girls that frequent XTC work in bigger cities like Dallas, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York. If dancer quality is what you seek, then don't look anywhere else in San Antonio. These girls are very attractive and they are friendly. This speaks to the quality of the management as well. It is clear that they don't tolerate entertainers with bad attitudes.

When it comes to value, people think the cover charge is a little high at XTC, but they don't consider what they are saving by choosing XTC over other clubs. If you buy a bottle or a six pack of beer and bring it with you, then you will save a lot of money by going to XTC. San Antonio has a new alcohol tax. Just to give you an idea, I spent over a $110 on 4 rounds of drinks at the Palace (just myself and one other person, they were $10 a drink not including tip). At XTC, you bring your own drinks. You don't have to pay for alcohol. You will have to buy setups if you bring a bottle, but $13 for a pitcher of Sprite or Cola is not that bad in comparison. And if you bring beer then you won't need setups. So, you will spend $25 to get into the club after 10pm. If you get there before 10PM you will spend only $10.

Dances are generally $20, unless they are running a dance special. They have $5 dance specials on Sundays, and they offer $10 before 9PM most days. If you get a private dance, you must purchase VIP status ($20) and then you have to work out a price with the girl dancing for you. You will pay her per song. Most XTC girls will charge $30 or $40 per song for a private dance. Make sure you work this out with her ahead of time. Never assume the girl is dancing for free. Remember, she is at work.
