I was at the Landing Strip...

I was at the Landing Strip last month, but that isn't the only visit this review is based on. It's a place to go to if you absolutely have to hang out somewhere after work or to get away from the shrew you're married to, & it's better than Hot Bodies. But there are better clubs in Austin.

The place itself is spacious. After you pay the cover at the front desk & walk in, the bar is to your right. There is a main stage in the center of the warehouse-sized room, a second stage to the left of you as you walk in. There are the usual round tables & cushioned chairs that can roll around, thus spoiling any lap dance you get for the usual ($20). There are seats positioned against the wall between the main & secondary stages; a dancer informed me dances in some of those are pricier at $30 per but she could've been trying to con me. Past the bar there is a row of booths for dances. They obviously cost more but I don't know how much. There is a second bar in back.

Quality of dancers has declined in the last year. When I walked in around 5 p.m. there were maybe five of them. By the time I left that had increased to maybe nine. Quality-wise, nothing near a 10. One young Latina was maybe an 8 (if you like slender & brown), a couple others had okay curves. But there were flabby hips & loose thighs...not drastically overweight but these girls weren't eating right, that much was obvious. I wouldn't know about extras but in a place like this, buying them is surely possible. All in all, it's not a place I'm gonna drive across town to get to.
