Let's get the following out of the way. Indianapolis strip clubs simply do not compare to Houston or Las Vegas strip clubs. The Indianapolis clubs are earnest, but they simply lack the kind of large market the better cities enjoy. If you go with that in mind, you'll enjoy yourself like I did. But if you don't calibrate your expectations, you're going to have a bad time.

I arrived around 9 pm, and the club is practically empty. The parking lot is so empty I call from my car wondering if somehow it was closed down and TUSCL reviewers hand't noted it yet, and if I should just head on down to Dancers Showclub. I picked Rick's because a client had indicated he had visited before, I've been to Dancers before and wanted to scope out another club and the likely club I would bring the client to. Someone answers, yes, they're open, so I park and head in. Cover was $8. I count three customers on entering, one in a stripper's Tableside Embrace, and two others sitting at a table talking with two strippers. I later find out the club normally only starts to pick up around 11 pm, and noticed after about 1 am is when it starts to really get hopping with customers.

There is one primary large stage, and a much smaller (only about 12' diameter) secondary stage, both with poles. When I arrived, only the primary stage was lit and in use, and the secondary stage started up around 9 pm when more girls arrived for work. I picked a table with the characteristics I liked, then counted about 5 strippers working, though as time wore on I saw a steady stream of girls arriving. Since the table was a little in the dark, the waitress didn't see me at first, but I like to settle and watch a bit before interacting with anyone, so the small delay suited me fine.
