Visited Bare Fax while in town...

Visited Bare Fax while in town for business ( my company is based in Ottawa). Its walking distance to a bunch of downtown hotels which is great. Its also in the touristy section of the market which also works out well. Tons of great places to eat around there. Walking in a was a little sketched out. You enter from the street level and walk upstairs to actually go in the club. At the street its pretty crappy and there were some randoms sitting on the steps. Turns out one of the randoms was a dancer having a smoke.

Walked in, paid the cover ($3) and was told I had to buy a drink. Whatever, I wanted one anyway. It feels really small inside to me. Ceiling is low and the stage is small but maybe a better way to say it is cozy. When i got in and got a seat and a drink i see there was a girl on stage, a few milling about and maybe 3 other guys in there. Tipping at the stage is either not a thing here or just wasn't on this night so I didn't bother. Some good dances, but none that stood out.

Had a few dancers stop to talk and a few acted as if I was not there. That was odd compared to other clubs but it was nice not to be pressured for a private dance.

Private rooms are upstairs and are very private. Contact was encouraged by the blonde from Quebec that Danced for me ($20) a song. Was WELL worth the price. I try to get back here every time I am in town for work
