Returned to Hollywood around 8pm on a recent Sunday. I have found myself coming here less and less frequently over the last 12 months, largely because I had not been encountering the better entertainers that I used to find at this place in recent years. The parking lot was clean with security present. The club interior was clean and well lit. It is impossible to sit with a girl for 25 minutes here without having to spend $25-30 on a couple drinks for her thanks to an intense drink push by the servers. Dancers have to sell enough drinks indirectly or pay a fine. If you can get past the drink hustle, the club still has all the physical attributes of cleanliness and great lighting that have helped make it famous. What it seems to be lacking over the last year is consistently high quality entertainers. The girls historically were 6-9 on a scale, but more recently have averaged 4-7. It's harder to justify subjecting yourself to the drink hustle when other clubs, in Sauget, for example, have as good or better entertainers, yet much less hustle.
