Visited 7/29/05 from around 10:45 PM to about 11:45PM based upon the recommendation of a work crew while I was in town for a couple of projects. It cost $10 to get in. When I got there, I was expecting Luther Campbell a.k.a. Luke Skyywalker (Two Live Crew "Hey, we want some pu$$y!!! etc.) kind of action. After all, I was told that he often drops in there and that's where the ballah's flow through when they come to town. There were plenty of ladies in the place - no doubt about it. However, there was just one stage, and that was behind the bar, which effectively functioned as a moat. If you want to tip the young lady (only one at a time on this fairly small stage), you have to reach across the moat to do it. That stuck me as odd. Secondly, there was was not all of the "makin' it clap", "booty poppin' ", freaky deaky stuff going on that Skyywalker was famous for talkin' about in his songs. I guess one could say that I got caught up in the hype.
Now, I'll say it again. There were plenty of women of the bubblin' juicy brown, chocolate brown, honey brown, and moca brown flava with boomin' (in my opinion) systems. To that, I must say that I like the (shapely) "Boom", "Bam", and "Pow" in my ladies and that part was all good. There was just no stage show to really speak of. I think the dancers make most of their money with private dances (was asked if I wanted a dance several times, but that is just not my thing - one young lady was even a bit miffed that I said "no thank you"). To that end, if the private dance is your thing and you have the long dollars required to work with the ladies, I've heard that you can have to good time. If you want a buck wild or even milder stage show up close, it won't work for you. Rating: 8 for potential (lots of good lookin' Boom - Bam) , 4 for production (did not live up to the Miami Base hype in my book).
