I had a short, mid-week business...

I had a short, mid-week business trip to Syracuse recently, and decided to visit the Alpine, a club I used to frequent when I lived in the area.

The Alpine looks like any other neighborhood bar on the outside, but the inside is a different story. The bar runs along the right side of the front room, and there's a small stage at the end of the room to the left. Beyond that is a second room with a larger stage along the far wall. There are always two girls dancing at the same time--one on each stage. In the front room, the dancer leaves her top on (as I recall), then after a set, moves to the back room where she goes topless.

A word about the dancers. I don't know how the Alpine does it, but their lineup of girls is excellent. Each one that night was good-looking and sexy--in the 7-9 range. One or two may actually have been 9+, but I didn't get a close enough look. It was very much how I remembered the club from the old days.
