The Mirage is in the building...

The Mirage is in the building that the old Gold Club used to be. I don't think that this club will ever do half as good as what the other club used to do. I was very disappointed with the vibe, layout, and dancers on shift. For one, the club's parking lot was pretty disgusting. Looked like it had not been clean in months, it was so filthy. I'm a neat freak, and that is absolutely unacceptable. I decided to go in, because like most clubs sometimes the party doesn't start until you get inside. The club was so dark inside, you would think that it were closed. I needed to adjust my eyes to be able to pay the door girl. I'm positive they kept it dark to camouflage the door girl and the dancers on shift. Walking into the club itself, the pattern repeats itself. It was very dark, too dark to be considered "making the girls look better". The drinks were too expensive. Maybe I was overcharged, but I paid $10.50 for a Crown and Coke. I stayed for two hours before going home, and there was no action. Of the 7 girls that I counted, all looked my way and none approached or smiled while on stage. Must have been a gloomy day for them all. Very disappointing considering I was only 1 of 4 customers that afternoon.
